Letter to Mr Hendricks
Glen Innes School
Glen Innes, Auckland
27.07.2016
Dear Mr Hendricks
As you know the seniors will be having a mini olympics and instead of the teachers organising it, the year 7 and 8 students would like to organise this event. If you think we are irresponsible and immature to organise this event, think again. Just give us the chance to show you just how responsible we can be.
Most of the times, teachers don’t really put out the kind of sports we like. So if you let us organise the mini olympics we would know the right sports to have and the students will have lots of fun as this should be a fun day, isn’t it?
Organising the mini olympics would boost our fitness level towards sports camp and it would leave you with less stress to worry about. Therefore, teachers should not have to worry too much and they can even take part in the games.
Finally , if you give us the chance we can practise our leadership skills which we use in the future when we grow up.
I can assure you that we have so much to offer the school only if you give us chance to do it.
Sincerely
Kuraia

Number patterns
Kuraia 21/06/2016
Today in room 7 I have been playing a game called Number patterns when I had to find the patterns of the blank number. It was 50% hard and 50% easy but I was able to finish the game and collect 4 Bio-Rods as well . This game did teach me how to find the numebr patterns of any digit number and hopefully next time I can collect more than 4 bio-rods.

Digestive System
Digestive System
Name of the System?
Digestive System
What is a digestive system?
It is a group of organs that help to digest the food we eat.
An explanation for each organ that involves.
Mouth - The mouth is where it starts
Tooth - Your teeth is what helps munch up all the food.
Esophagus - Is a tube for the food to go down to your stomach.
Salivary glands - It produces saliva to keep the digestive system moist.
Stomach - It is like a bag where the food goes in.
Big intestines - Is a tube for food that is not able to be crushed into small nutrients.
Small intestines - A tube for nutrients to travel through then into your anus .
How your system Works?
It will all start of when you eat something and then you will swallow it down through your esophagus and into your stomach . Then there will be a thing called GI tract which is a juice that breaks down the food we eat but if it is unable to be broken down then it will got through your big intestines and the food that is able to be crushed will go through your small intestines and then it will end up coming through your anus and that will be the time you need to go toilet.

Our heart is what pumps our blood around our body
That the air we breathe in our noses filters by our nose hairs
I know that our body movements are sent from our brain
I know that the right side of our brain controls the left side of our body and the left side of our brain controls the right side of our body
That our blood goes through our vain to run through our body once after it has just been pumped from out heart.
I know that we taste from our tastebuds .
I want to learn about…………………
I want to know why our hair grows back once we have just cut it
I want to know how we sweat
I want to know how our lungs work
I want to know how our digestive systems work
I want to know why we have and get muscles
I want to know how our body heal sores that we get
I want to know how our teeth grow
I want to know how our nails grow back every time we cut them
