In this game I have been playing a fraction game to help me with my fractions . It was very very hard although I am supposed to be smart by now but actually I am a bt kuku . But anyways I came last and there is nothing I can do about it but unless I tried my best on answering a few of the fractions . In this game I learnt that when you add fractions you go the answer in your head but the answer is not there so you need to multiply , divide , or subtract the number in the fraction to find your answer .

In this Maths game it was pretty hard because I don’t really know much about decimals but I wanted to challenge myself. I think this game can help me to learn decimals if I keep on playing it . I think this is another goal for me to work on.  Knowing my decimals  will really help me to do better at school.

Making Ice-cream in bags

Making ice-cream in bags

On the 27th of March  room 9 and 10 had the chance to make ice-cream in the hall.  I knew it is going to be an excellent experience for all of us.

Straight after the lunch bell room 10 were heading off to the hall to make some ice-cream . We got into the hall and started thinking about what kind of flavour we were going to choose . Finally it was time to make ice-cream .

First we had to write our names on a zip lock bag or a sandwich bag.  We put in our bags one tablespoon of sugar,  then choose from oreo crumbs, chocolate chip, lollies and nuts to add a bit of flavour into our ice cream  then ½ a cup of milk was added last.  We gave our bags a good shake to mix all the ingredients.

Next we made sure our bags are tightly closed then we put them 10 of these small bags into a big bag with ice cubes and salt. We then took turns in shaking the big bag non stop for about 5 - 8 minutes.  After that we took out our small bags and our ice cream is ready.

At the end I thought those ice-creams that we made was really good and I hope we could make some during this year .
