Today , I have gone with my class to observe all our displays from Glen Innes School. From room 12 to room 7. The display's were very interesting ,as well as games we could play . I didn't get that much time to finish the quiz I was doing because our class turn was over. It was very fun watching all the displays because some were funny and some gave me a bit more Idea to omaru creek. I couldn't get a picture but I will show you on my next post.

Adding Mixed Fractions

Today I have done an Activity on Adding mixed fractions with the same denominator. This was actually interesting knowing how to add them . I learnt that adding mixed fractions is just like adding the whole number and adding the fraction to get your answer. It was pretty hard at start because there were too many steps to follow I didn’t even know how to solve 3 ⅗ - 1 ⅘ ,because the left fraction was less than the right one . So it got me confused. This was a really helpful game , but maybe I could start studying on adding mixed fractions with different denominators.

It’s dirty and rotten

and people have forgotten

It’s important to us

but we don’t make a big fuss.

We need to clean the creek and make it healthy again

It’s not too hard, just use your brain

We need your big voice

Just make the right choice

So help us save the creek

Because it’s special and unique
